Clubs & Societies
Clubs and societies at Nakivubo Primary School give pupils opportunities to develop talents, teamwork, and leadership skills beyond the classroom. Through activities such as debating, music, drama, sports, and environmental clubs, learners build confidence, discipline, and a sense of responsibility while supporting their overall school experience.
Music dance, drama club
The Music, Dance, and Drama Club provides pupils with a space to express creativity and build confidence through performance.
Pupils take part in singing, traditional and modern dance, poetry, and drama activities that reflect culture, teamwork, and self-expression and have emerged as champions at the national level competitions.
Debating club
The Debating Club helps pupils develop confidence in speaking, listening, and expressing ideas clearly.
Members take part in guided discussions, debates, and presentations on topics suited to their age and learning level.
Urban agriculture and environment
The Urban Agriculture and Environment Club teaches pupils practical skills in gardening, environmental care, and responsible use of resources. Members take part in activities such as planting, waste management, and learning about climate and conservation.
The club promotes responsibility, teamwork, and awareness of how daily actions affect the environment, both at school and at home.
Gin guides - scouts
The Girl Guides and Scouts Club focuses on discipline, teamwork, and life skills. Pupils learn values such as responsibility, respect, cooperation, and service through guided activities and group tasks.
The club supports character development and helps pupils grow into responsible, confident, and self-reliant individuals.
Reader, writers club
The Readers and Writers Club encourages pupils to develop strong reading and writing habits. Members take part in reading sessions, storytelling, creative writing, and spelling activities.
Through the club, pupils improve literacy skills, expand vocabulary, and build confidence in expressing ideas through written and spoken language.
PIASCY
The PIASCY Club supports pupils with age-appropriate guidance on health, behaviour, and life skills. Through structured activities and discussions, pupils learn about personal responsibility, self-awareness, and making positive choices in line with national education guidelines.
Sanitation club
The Sanitation Club promotes cleanliness, hygiene, and proper waste management within the school. Pupils take part in activities that encourage handwashing, proper use of facilities, and keeping the school environment clean

The Games and Sports Club promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and fair play through organised sports and physical activities.
