About Us
Our History
Nakivubo Primary School started in 1950 as an Indian school to provide education services to the school-going Indian children whose parents had started up businesses in Kampala, and they were mainly residing in the Kisenyi area up to old Kampala.
In 1971, when the Indians left Uganda, the school was handed back to the Ugandan government.
Currently, the school has both nationals and even other children from neighbouring countries like Kenya, Somalia, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Ethiopia, Sudan, and even Pakistan, and most of them are refugees.
The school has 40 teaching staff and 22 support staff who are all devoted to helping a child.
